Plumbee Presents In-House Development Team
Former NextGen Gaming manager a part of it
An announcement of the introduction of an in-house development team came this week from social online games developer Plumbee, which confirmed that it has engaged former NextGen manager Peter Stathis as lead mathematician and game designer.
The new team will be in charge of enlarging and diversifying the company’s popular Facebook offering, Mirrorball Slots. It will comprise up to 12 employees, the company specified, in addition to an announcement that Plumbee’s exclusive supplier agreement with Quickspin is to continue.
“We are delighted to welcome someone of Peter&s calibre and experience to our team,” said Raf Keustermans, Plumbee CEO, adding: “He will play a pivotal role in building out our in-house slots development team here in London. Our goal is to focus a lot of our time and energy on providing our players with the best possible content in the social casino space.
“Building a top-notch in-house slots studio to complement our content from Quickspin is an obvious next step and the Plumbee slots team will work across both Facebook and mobile platforms,” he concluded.
In related news, the company has recently released its first non-slot title on Facebook, keno, which will work as a bonus game for players with the ‘hearts& virtual currency to win coins so they can play some of its slots – Rapunzel&s Tower, Goldilocks and the Wild Bears and Big Bad Wolf.
